The Complete Guide to RadioHostAI

Everything you need to set up your station, master the tools, and get broadcast-ready output that sounds like you — not generic AI.

Free plan included · No credit card required

Getting started

Up and running in a couple of minutes

No card, no sales call. Sign up and you're generating in the same session.

Create your free account

Head to the register page and create an account with your email. There's nothing to install and no credit card required. The moment you're in, you have 5,000 free credits every month to explore every tool on the platform.

Free credits reset monthly, so you can keep using RadioHostAI for real prep before you ever think about a paid plan. When you're ready for more volume, upgrading is a click away — but plenty of presenters run day to day on the free tier.

What you get on day one

  • Access to every generator — on-air scripts, show prep, music tools, social, audio and visual.
  • 5,000 credits a month, refreshed automatically.
  • Your own Station Profile and Brand Kit (set this up first — more below).
  • Live streaming output and plain-English refinement on every tool.
Do this first

Set up your Station Profile

This is the single biggest lever for output quality. Spend five minutes here and every tool gets better.

Before you write a single script, fill in your Station Profile. It tells RadioHostAI who you are so the output sounds like your station instead of anonymous AI copy. Every generator automatically folds this in — you set it once and it quietly improves everything you make afterwards.

The station details

  • Station name and call sign — so they're spelled and said correctly.
  • Format — Hot AC, Classic Rock, Talk, Country, Top 40, whatever you run.
  • Market — your town or region, so local references land.
  • Presenter name — so shout-outs and sign-offs are personal.
  • Default tone — cheeky, warm, high-energy, laid-back. This shapes voice across every tool.

Your Brand Kit

The Brand Kit is where your station's personality lives. Fill in as much as you can:

  • Taglines — your positioning lines so they get woven in naturally.
  • Sponsors — recurring advertisers named correctly, every time.
  • A standard disclaimer — competition or legal wording that has to appear verbatim.
  • "Never say" phrases — words, rival stations or clichés you want kept out of your output.

Because this profile is applied automatically on every generation, it's the difference between output you have to heavily rewrite and output you can read straight off the screen. If you do one thing before anything else, do this.

How generating works

Pick a tool, fill a short form, watch it write

011. Choose your tool

Pick from the on-air, prep, music, social, writing or audio categories — each is built for one job.

022. Fill a short form

A few fields — the topic, the sponsor, the length. Your Station Profile fills in the rest.

033. Watch it stream

Output arrives live, word by word, so you can start reading and reacting immediately.

044. Refine in plain English

Ask for changes like "make it shorter" or "mention the 8pm start" and it rewrites on the spot.

055. Tap the quick chips

One-tap refine chips — shorter, punchier, more formal — for the tweaks you make most.

066. Copy, edit or download

Grab the text, edit it in place, or download it. Send scripts on to Text to Speech for a voiced version.

The toolkit

A tour of the tools

Every generator uses your Station Profile automatically. Here's what's in the box.

On-Air Scripts

  • Live Read Writer — natural sponsor reads and promos written to a target time.
  • Weather Report Writer — pulls the real live forecast for the town you pick and turns it into an on-air read.
  • Show Recap — a tidy wrap of what happened on the show.
  • Promos & Sweepers — short imaging and promo copy that sounds like your station.
  • Traffic — clean, easy-to-read traffic updates.
  • Horoscopes — daily star signs in your show's voice.
  • Shout-outs — personalised birthday, dedication and listener shout-outs.

Show Prep

  • Show Prep — talking points and segment ideas ready before you go on.
  • Interview Questions — sharp, relevant questions for any guest.
  • Trivia — quiz questions and answers for on-air games.
  • On This Day — historical moments and anniversaries to talk about.

Music & Artists

  • Now Playing — paste a tracklist and get intros, back-announces and socials for each song.
  • Artist Profile — quick, accurate background on any artist.
  • Playlist Generator — themed playlists built to your format.

Social & Promo

  • Social Post Writer — posts for your station's channels in your voice.
  • Show Name Generator — names for shows, segments and features.
  • On-Air Competition — competition mechanics and read-ready copy.

Writing

  • Article Writer — web and newsletter articles for your station site.
  • Summariser — long copy boiled down to the essentials.
  • Email Enhancer — polished, professional emails in seconds.

Audio & Visual

  • Text to Speech — 10 voices, selectable delivery styles, HD quality and multiple export formats.
  • Speech to Text — accurate transcription of audio into clean text.
  • Image Generator — artwork and visuals for socials and promos.
Consistent imaging

Text to Speech & your Station Voice

Set a default voice and delivery style once, and your imaging stays consistent every time.

Text to Speech gives you 10 voices, a range of delivery styles, HD audio and several export formats — so you can go straight from script to voiced asset. But the real trick is consistency: save a default voice and style as your Station Voice.

Once it's saved, every sweeper, promo and bit of imaging comes out in the same voice with the same feel, so your station sounds like one coherent brand rather than a grab bag of different reads. Change it any time you want a new sound.

Credits & plans

Simple, generous pricing

Credits are spent per generation, and you can see your usage per tool in your account.

01Free

5,000 credits per month. No card required — perfect for getting to know the tools and light everyday use.

02Light — $9 AUD / $5 USD

50,000 credits per month for presenters who prep with RadioHostAI regularly.

03Enthusiast — $18 AUD / $10 USD

110,000 credits per month for heavier daily use across scripts and audio.

04Professional — $50 AUD / $30 USD

350,000 credits per month for full-station workflows and high-volume imaging.

Every generation spends credits — text tools cost a little, audio and images cost a bit more. Your account shows a clear breakdown of usage per tool, so you always know where your credits are going and when it's time to move up a tier.

Tips to get the best results

  • Be specific in the brief — the more detail you give, the sharper the output
  • Set your Station Profile and Brand Kit first — it lifts the quality of everything
  • Use the refine chips and plain-English tweaks instead of starting over
  • Save a default Station Voice so your imaging stays consistent
  • Save your favourites so your best prompts and reads are one click away
